Located in between Looe and Polperro, just off the main road connecting the two picturesque Cornish fishing towns is this little gem of a camping site. with a bus stop right on the door stop of the site, a trip into the local towns has never been more easy.

the staff friendly, the grassy pitches flat, the camp site is very welcoming.

the site offers a great services such as site wide wifi and a generous 16 amp electric hook up.

it has a single toilet block that covers the site all with adequate capacities to handle a site of this size. it has good outdoor pots and pans washing facilities, an on site laundry, chemical toilet and grey water disposal points and two disabled toilets both with power showers.

the site has an on site bar serving drinks and evening hot meals, an on site mini shop selling essentials, night time entertainment, and a small child activity climbing frame play area.

Camping Caradon also uses some clever ways of helping the environment by utilising the power of the sun to heat the water up, and also have installed flow restrictions to the showers and implemented waterless urinals to save water.

the site is nice ans secure with CCTV and a security barrier controlled via pin entry.

a few side notes, some pitches may have stones under the surface so getting tent pegs in the ground may be difficult. also the site wide wifi at the time of our visit was having issues only working after being manually reset by staff.

i give this camp site a good 4.5 out of 5.
