師父想說一件事

很多神
A lot of gods

各類不同的神
A great variety of gods

許多方式不同的神
Their appearances and methods of processing issues are different

這些不同的方式裡的神祇
Despite the differences of those gods,

究竟如何做事?
How do they fulfill their duties?
　
何謂意義?
What is the purpose of its existence?

存在有何必要?
Is it necessary for a god to exist?
　
需要嗎?
Is it necessary?

好像需要
It seems to be necessary
　
沒祂也行嗎?
Is it fine without a god

好像也行
It seems to be OK too
　
那回到
Let’s return to the topic

咱今天不說神蹟
We don’t talk about miracles today
　
神明的意義是什麼?
What is the meaning of the gods?

第一師父希望
First, Master hopes that

每一個神之間
every person should understand that

每一個人都應該理解
the methods each god adopted

咱們的做法相差異並不大
are not much different
　
以火為介
Fire as a medium,

以禱為詞
prayer as a word,

以人為器
people as an instrument,

以心為基
heart as a foundation
　
並無不同
No difference

何以教義
What is doctrine?

除開你們人文長年歷史之下的原因
Apart from the reasons after a long history of humanism

其實很簡單
It is very simple
　
就拽一把吧
Just give a hand

拉一把人
Give someone a hand

拉一把手臂
Pull one’s arm

拉一把手
Pull one’s hand

拉一把手腕
Pull one’s wrist

推一把
Give someone a push

推一把背
Give a push from the back
　
也許磕磕碰碰的
It might be bumpy

但目標都是同一個
but the goal is the same

叫做你該去的地方
That is we are all going to end up in a place where we belong

興許做法各有不同
Perhaps the methods are different,

有的嚇阻
some are deterring,

有的慈悲
some are compassionate,

有的艱鉅
some are tough,

有的嚇你
some are scary,

有的呢血肉都給你的
some give you flesh and blood
（意指：無上限的機會）
(meaning: unlimited opportunities),

有的給你希望
some give you hope,

有的給你絕望
some give you despair

但是
But

不管這些神祇給你什麼
no matter what these gods give you,

都只為一件事
it is only for one thing

那就是依你的性子幫你了解你自己
It is to help you understand yourself according to your nature,

還有助你找到你自己
to help you find the inner self

並且讓你能做超越自己能力的事
and to allow you to take on challenges beyond your ability
　
至於『神明』二字何來啊?
As for the word "God"?

人給的囉
It’s given by men
　
土地廣大
The land is vast

隔山、隔海、隔洲的
across the mountains, the seas and the continents

但是師父希望每一個人在不同的領域中
Master hopes that everyone will

懂得尊重彼此。
respect each other in different fields
　
若真要懂得釋義、教義
If you want to understand the interpretation and the doctrine,

從前頭學習
learn from the beginning,

從遠古時代就開始分析
analysis from the ancient times

而不是因為一張片面之餘斷定所有的事情
Instead of making all the decisions based on a single fact

那就是神明共同的可惜
This is the sorrow that all gods share

不要浪費自己
Don't waste yourselves
