VJ Kopecky Showreel 2014-19

VJing is the climax of my journey which began in 1980 when I started experimenting with photomontage using my first camera and darkroom. Since 2014 I real-time animate in 3D space in several tracks montages from thousands of my source materials, using MIDI/audio signals and devices like gamepad, Orbit, Leap Motion, Kinect in a TouchDesigner application I developed. Sophisticated stroboscopes, live animation, and motion control create authentic trance atmosphere and every performance is thus an abstract movie, ritual, dynamic meditation, shamanic journey.
I feel best visualizing ambient/meditation and dance/trance music.
