Here's a quick tour of the 2019 BMW X7 in the entry-level xDrive40i trim. BMW's first full-size, three-row SUV sits above the X5 in the company's model range. Competing with the Mercedes-Benz GLS, the X7 is powered by either a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 making 335 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque (40i) or a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 making 456 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque (50i). Both versions get an 8-speed automatic as standard.

BMW offers a pair of captain's chairs for the second row, but adding this option cuts the seat count down from seven to six. Standard is a 12.3-inch instrument cluster and large touchscreen infotainment. Rear passengers also get their own touchscreens. An optional Bowers & Wilkins sound system includes 20 speakers. The driver's assistance package will operate the X7 autonomously at speeds below 37 mph.

The 2019 BMW X7 xDrive40i goes on sale in Spring 2019 at a starting price of $74,895.
