LONESOME RAILS Ep. 1: THE DOUGLAS RAILROAD MUSEUM, Part 1

Welcome. In this first episode of our new Lonesome Rails series, you will pay a visit to one of our favorite places, the Douglas Railroad Museum in our hometown of Douglas, Wyoming.

Here you will see a number of historic train cars, including CB&Q 5633, one of the last remaining Northern 4-8-4 steam engines in the country, and one you can actually get up close to.

If you visit the museum, be sure to stop inside the historic FE&MV passenger depot, constructed in 1886 and take a look at the exhibits within and get a souvenir (or two) from the Jackalope Junction gift shop.
