‪@JonArmstrongRallying‬ and Brian Hoy are now the outright leaders after ‪@juniorwrc‬ Rally de Portugal, their latest adventure in the ‪@wrc‬.

Starting out strong withn a 1 minute lead, the crew ran into trouble on Friday afternoon with a suspension failure on the rocky roads.

Following this the goal was to treat every Stage like a DiRT Rally Time Trial, and go for fastest times in each. Every Stage Win would result in 1 extra bonus point for the team, which could make up for losing the overall lead in the rally.

Jon and Brian went on a charge, and scored 8 bonus points from the 22 Stages of the rally, putting them in the lead of the Junior WRC standings by 1 point, with 2 rallies to go.
