This film, "REQUIEM FOR HUMANITY" (initial title : “REQUIEM” and for the Salonika Festival “Elegeion i Rekviem”), was uploaded on YouTube, on Vimeo and on Internet Archives and it was produced in 1970,
It was accepted, worldwide, as avant-garde, because it introduced in the film industry, for the first time in history (1970), a completely new style - “Flashing Pictures” editing style - to tell a story (rapidly changing images, following the soundtrack beat) ..! It was shot on Super 8 film and was edited by physically cutting and rejoining the film (hundreds of times) by the use of a special glue (there were, at those days, 1970, no computers, or videos, or timelines to do the job digitally) and had almost completely worn by the projection machines after 37 years played in cine-clubs and theatres (copies of the movie, were not used because of poor image quality), but after strenuous processing techniques, survived in its current form.
It has been filed with its Salonika Festival title, in the archives of IMDb (INTERNATIONAL MOVIE DATA BASE) to be preserved in time, together with another film by Marios Lefteriotis (Kerkyra - Corfu)
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2806266/
and also in the Greek Movie Database

The innocent children, everyday victims of a terrible heritage of violence ...
This film was made in 1970 (Vietnam war, Kennedy's murder, first man on the moon etc) and it was a 3 Stars winner at the London Ten Best Festival (1971). Later on it was shown on the National TV and at many cine clubs, worldwide, where its avant-garde shooting, was extensively discussed by the filmmakers and the audience ! This film maintains its originality even to-day, nearly 46 (2016) years after it was made, and it is suitable for all times, especially ours...
Do not miss the last part of this video with the Direcror’s 1974 interview on the Greek TV and the prophetic comments, about the coming dark days of our time ..
Finally pay attention to the scenes with the flying planes and the falling buildings, which predict in a way 9/11 ..
