Will the PIMCO Funds Ever Recover? (PDI, PTY, PDO, etc)

When going through my portfolio of income holdings, there’s one group of investments I have that have easily been one of the most controversial, which are my PIMCO funds. As I’ve discussed in the past, I first started buying into these funds back in February 2023, after their share prices had already fallen pretty significantly. Since buying into them, the share price of these funds has kept falling, up until the past couple weeks, when we’ve been seeing a slight uptick in the share price. But a handful of these funds, including PDI, are still down significantly since interest rates started going up. So today I thought it would be a good idea to check in on these funds and see how they’re doing, what we can expect going forward, and if we’re closer to seeing a good recovery for them.
