Two late goals from full-forward Tom O'Connell drove Waterford to their first Munster SFC win since 2010 in front of 1,071 spectators.

Playing against a strong breeze, the hosts outscored their opponents 2-06 to 0-03 in the second period. Full forward O'Connell accounted for 2-03.
