Shadows is a British supernatural television anthology series produced by Thames Television for ITV between 1975 and 1978. Extending over three series, it featured ghost and horror dramas for children. Atmospheric, superbly scripted and filled with the unexpected, this remarkable anthology series offers spine-tingling psychological and supernatural tales for younger viewers.

Capitalizing on the success of its first series, producer Ruth Boswell raised the bar with contributions from notable, award-winning authors J. B. Priestley, Fay Weldon, P. J. Hammond, Joan Aiken, Jacquetta Hawkes, Penelope Lively, Rosemary Harris and Susan Cooper.

Remembered to this day, Shadows is one of the quintessential children's drama series of the 1970s.
