Step By Step Guideance
Step 1: Open Microsoft Paint Click on the Start button. Search and open Paint. Make sure your canvas area is large enough to draw the flag.

Step 2: Draw the Flag Pole Select the Rectangle tool from the “Shapes” group. Draw a tall vertical rectangle on the left side — this will be the flagpole. Later, you can fill it with brown color using the Fill with Color (Bucket) tool.
Step 3: Create the Curved Outline of the Flag Select the Curve tool from “Shapes.” Choose the Saffron color from the “Color 1” palette. Draw a horizontal line (the top side of the flag).After drawing, click once above or below the line to curve it slightly to your desired shape. Repeat steps to draw the middle (white) and bottom (green) curved lines one below another. To duplicate the same curve, you can copy and paste the lines, then recolor them (orange, white, green).Adjust each line’s curve slightly for a wavy, realistic look.
Step 4: Close the Curve Boundaries. Use the Line tool to join ends of the saffron and white curves together vertically. Do the same between the white and green curves, ensuring each line is enclosed properly.
Step 5: Add the Ashoka Chakra. Select the Oval tool from “Shapes.” Hold the Shift key while drawing to make a perfect circle in the center of the white section. Go to Edit Colors → Define Custom Colors and pick Navy Blue for the Chakra. Use the Line tool to draw 24 spokes evenly within the circle — zoom in for precision.
Step 6: Fill the Colors Use the Fill with Color tool: Top curved section → Saffron. Middle section → White (leave blank)Bottom section → Green. Chakra → Navy Blue. Pole → Brown
Step 7: Finishing Touches Zoom out to check alignment. Adjust any curves or shapes using “Select → Transparent Selection” and “Move.” Save your artwork by clicking File → Save As → PNG or JPEG.
