Barry Sanders First Game for the Lions...The Build Up, First Carries...and Touchdown

Sept 10th, 1989 saw the beginning of the Barry Sanders highlight reel and legacy and football life with the Lions. The build up to his first carries was as dramatic as one of his runs and when the time came to shine; he took the ball and ran with it; the Cardinals were Barry's first victims. His best runs from the game as well.

*I know...now...that Pontiac is a city and not just a car brand. That was my bad. I also had a sweet uncut version of this footage that didn't include my commentary. However, Youtube will not allow the posting of this video unless I modify it in some way. The footage is too good not to post and even my rambling cannot ruin Barry's first game...I hope you enjoy.
