Joe Bonsall, The Oak Ridge Boys' tenor vocalist for nearly 50 years, died at the age of 76 on Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Joe Bonsall had been performing with The Oak Ridge Boys for five decades until announcing his retirement in January 2024 due to poor health. According to a news statement, Bonsall died from consequences of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
