The Mount Adams Catcalysm; A Major Collapse 6,000 Years Ago

Описание к видео The Mount Adams Catcalysm; A Major Collapse 6,000 Years Ago

Approximately 6,000 years ago, Mount Adams experienced a major cataclysm which buried areas more than 15 miles away from this volcano in up to 65 feet thick of debris. What I am referring to is a major landslide and lahar not associated with a volcanic eruption referred to as the Trout Lake Mudflow. This video will discuss this ancient catclysm in the state of Washington, and discuss two smaller scale events which have occurred in the years since, originating from the same part of the mountain.
