Fixing UOM Not Mapped to UQC in TallyPrime | Quick Solution | AXN Infotech (Tamil)

Here’s how you can map UoM to UQC in TallyPrime:

Navigate to UoM Master:
Open TallyPrime and go to Gateway of Tally - Inventory Info - Units of Measure.
Select the UoM you want to map to UQC.

Mapping UoM to UQC:
In the UoM alteration screen, you’ll find an option to map the UQC (Unit Quantity Code).
Select the appropriate UQC from the predefined list provided by the department.

Using the Map UoM-UQC Report:
If you have multiple UoMs to map, go to Gateway of Tally - Display - Statutory Reports - GST - Map UoM-UQC.
This report allows you to map all UoMs to UQCs at once, saving time.

Handling Multiple UoMs:
If an item is linked to more than one UoM, you’ll need to choose a single Reporting UQC for GST returns.

Save and Verify:
After mapping, save the changes and verify the mapping through a sample return filing to ensure everything is set up correctly.

This process ensures that your units of measurement are compliant with the department’s UQC standards, facilitating accurate GST return filing.
