"find" command is used to find the files or directories according to their name, size, permissions etc etc.
It is similar to "grep" command; "grep" is used to find the content of a file wheread "find" is used to find the files/directories.

usage:
find [path in which to search] [options] [values]
examples:
1) find ./ -name 'test*'
it'll start searching from the current directory to all the child directories (because the path is "./") and the name of the files/directories should start with "test" as it is the regular expression given. (* means everything)

2) find ./ -type f -name 'test*'
it'll find only files. not directories.
for file: f
for directories: d
if you don't specify the type then it'll find evreything.

3) find ./ -perm 720 -name '*'
it'll find every files and folders which are having the following permissions:
user: r w x
grpup: _ w _
others: _ _ _
combiningly: "r w x _ w _ _ _ _"

4) find ./ -perm -421 -name '*'
when we give '-' before the permission code, it'll become the minimum required permission.
first is 4: it means user must have read permission (it'll not check for write and execute permission for user)
2nd is 2: it means group must have write permission (it'll not check for read and execute permission for group)
3rd is 1: it means others must have execute permission (it'll not check for read and write permission for others)

in simple terms:
r * * * w * * * x it'll ignore the fields marked with *, remaining will be checked only.
