In June 2021, UN Global Compact, through the work of the UN Global Compact Action Platform for Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, launched SDG 16 Business Framework: “Inspiring Transformational Governance”. This is a tool that puts forward the theory and the demonstration of transformational governance and how it is underpinned by the targets and tenets of SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions. While transforming to be more accountable, ethical, inclusive and transparent, businesses are encouraged to move beyond compliance by engaging across the spectrum of transformational governance and adopt a more expansive approach to the “G” in the ESG.

Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN) in collaboration with Indonesia Stock Exchange and with the support of the Ministry of National Development Planning/BAPPENAS and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) held a series of coaching clinics to encourage business to integrate the underlying values and principles of transformational governance in their internal and external activities.
