A New Journey, A Guarda, Spain

Howdy y'all,

This is day 1 of my 10 day adventure hiking the Portuguese Coastal Route of the famous Spanish Camino. Although I am not catholic like many who embark on this journey, 'twas definitely spiritual. I was exposed to beautiful new scenery, experiences, and people from all over.

Day 1 Notes

I really had no idea what I was getting into
Please excuse all the cussing, I just like a good view
Yema, per mentioned in the dessert, is yolk in Spanish
I actually run into the older couple on the boat again at Santiago de Compostela
From a foreigner perspective seeing Gallego, Castellano, Catalan (debatable as to whether these are dialects or languages), and Euskara (the first Indo-European language—look it up) as options on an ATM is WILD
