What's the best size swarm-catching box to collect a swarm of bees in? That's what this video is about – sort of, anyway.

I use my own size frames – they're called Rose frames – but even if you use standard National Brood frames or Medium Langstroths, a five-frame box will probably still suit best for this job. You want a box big enough to get all the bees in obviously, but manageable too – even if you're up a ladder. Make sure it's bee proof before you put the bees in – I find the rubber straps are good for that – and, of course, it must be well ventilated..
