Discover the Via Francigena in the French region of Hauts-de-France!

The Via Francigena is a cultural itinerary of the Council of Europe that crosses 3200km throughout 5 European countries: United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Italy, and the Vatican.

In the summer of 2021 the European Association of the Via Francigena ways celebrated its 20th anniversary by walking & cycling along the entire length of the Via Francigena for four months.
This video shows our passage in the beautiful French region of Hauts-de-France: 18 stages in total took us through its rich history, heritage, culinary traditions, beautiful cities such as Arras, Saint-Quentin and Laon, as well as many gorgeous rural towns.
