Open Road Fund Application Information Session June 2023

This information session took place virtually on June 23rd, 2023. Watch the recording here to learn about the Open Road Fund Application & Process. The Open Road fund application opens on June 19, 2023 and closes on July 28, 2023.

The Open Road Fund is a community resource awarding $50 million in grants to descendants of the Atlantic Slave Trade in Minnesota and the Dakotas.

The Open Road Fund was created to serve Black people from all walks of life, especially formerly incarcerated folks, single parents, senior citizens, those living with disabilities, LGBTQ+, and more. Over the next eight years, we will award $50,000 grants that can be used for wealth projects, including housing, education, financial well-being, healing, and economic justice.
