Sustainability is more than a concept; it’s an experience. In this session, participants will learn how to design experiential artifacts and systems that bring sustainable futures to life. Through worldbuilding, systemic design, and design fiction, participants will prototype solutions for complex challenges.

Speakers
Joseph Press: Drawing from his experience at the Institute for the Future and Politecnico di Milano, Joseph specializes in helping organizations move from foresight to action through design-driven approaches.

Professor Silvia Barbero: Systemic Design expert from Politecnico di Torino, Silvia’s work focuses on creating meaningful, human-centered interventions within complex systems.

Rosanna Vitiello: a creative director and urban strategist with a focus on public places, culture, and experience design. By looking beyond traditional industry boundaries and focusing on what connects us to place, her work opens our imagination about the future of the cities and landscapes we inhabit.

Nicklas Larsen: Nicklas cultivates anticipatory capabilities in individuals and organizations through futures and foresight. As the Danish node in UNESCO’s Global Futures Literacy Network, he is committed to establishing the Danish UNESCO Chair in Anticipatory Leadership and Futures Capabilities in collaboration with Aarhus University.
