Prayer (The Scarlet Pimpernel) - Nicholas Devlin

Hi guys

This is me singing 'Prayer' from the terrific Frank Wildhorn musical 'The Scarlet Pimpernel'. I was lucky enough to be involved in a production of the show several years before. Now after training I wanted to return to the amazing music and in particular this number which I had admired for so long. This song is sung by 'Percy' towards the beginning of the show. It is an honest and devastating account of the betrayal Percy feels towards his new wife, Marguerite, who he has learned is responsible for the death of his friend back in France during the french Revolution.
