Single lace rib: a Knittycat's Knits tutorial

Video tutorial on how to do the Simgle Lace Rib Stitch, knit in the flat (Lacey Stitch Series; traditional patterns)

Abbreviations: K=knit; K2tog=knit 2 stitches together; P=purl; P2tog=purl 2 stitches together; st= stitch; YO=yarn over
Cast on a multiple of 4 sts + 1 st (eg, 33 or 41 sts, etc)
Row 1 (right side of work): K1, *YO, K2tog, P1, K1. Repeat from * until the end of the row.
Row 2 (wrong side): P1, *YO, P2tog, K1, P1. Repeat from * until the end of the row.

Repeat these 2 rows for the Single Lace Rib stitch pattern.

Note: to knit this pattern in the round, cast on a multiple of 4 sts and change Rows as follows:
Row 1: *K1, YO, K2tog, K1, P1. Repeat from * to end of row.
Row 2: *K1, P1, K2tog, YO. Repeat from * to end of row.
