Slow Mocean Film (nature's spectacle of amazing shorebreak waves)

Описание к видео Slow Mocean Film (nature's spectacle of amazing shorebreak waves)

Watch Nature's power come to live in this short film portraying big shore break waves crashing directly over dry sand at a renowned beach on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. To better feel the thrill of what it's like to dance with these sand dwelling giants, I strongly recommend watching this on a large screen, if you have access to one. Sit back, try to relax and dive into this great short film and awesome sound track. I hope you enjoy it. Aloha!

Story Behind the Film

Being in the ocean and especially amongst waves is not something that comes naturally to many people. Water is a pretty heavy element and when in movement, it becomes one of the greatest forces of Nature. Fearing it is only natural but with practice, our abilities in the water can improve enough to allow us to see very differently what most people might perceive to be a threatening situation. Though caution is indispensable no matter the experience accumulated, being calm is really what will help you navigate through fear and through most adverse situations, like everything in life, I guess.
That’s where the idea for this film came to me. I wanted to exploit my knowledge and relationship with these extreme conditions to create something I could share with others. Something I hope reaches especially the people that have never witnessed anything like this and maybe never will. We live on a spectacular planet full of wonderful things happening at every second somewhere on this Earth and unfortunately there are just too many things to see in one lifetime, even if we all had the resources to try to do so. That’s one of the reasons why we share our experiences and why sharing has become so huge with the internet. It’s they way we found to see it all or at least allot of it. I have seen so many cool things because of it so I wanted to do the same for others by sharing my experience.
Playing in the shorebreak is something that has been part of my life pretty much as far back as I can remember, so in a way, this is a lifetime’s work. There are also months of labor and love put into this project so I truly hope it will serve its purpose of bringing to you a new perspective of the amazing spectacle of Natarue's shorebreak waves.
