Kristoffer Vitting-Seerup, Assistant Professor, Institute for Health Technology, Technical University of Denmark, has received a fellowship totalling DKK 10 million from the Lundbeck Foundation.

The human genome is like a blueprint for the human body. It contains around 20,000 genes that create different proteins that are essential for life. Most of these genes can create different versions of proteins, called "protein isoforms". These different versions have different functions in the body, like different tools in a toolbox.
