Episode 4 - Rome from peace to war (season 1)

While the years moved from the 8th into the 7th century BCE, Rome started the new century with a time of relative peace. It was the second king of Rome, King Numa who wasn't searching for a further expansion of the Roman territories. It was only after his passing in the year 673 BCE that the third king of Rome Hostus Hostilius continued where Romulus had stopped.

A time of conquest and keeping the already existing vassal states under control had started.
