Busy Philipps is a well-known actress, who was born in 1979, in Illinois. She started her acting career in 1999 having featured in TV series Freaks and Geeks. Then she appeared in The Smokers and Dawson’s Creek for which she was nominated for a Teen Choice Awards. She can also boast of roles in such hit films as Blades of Glory, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, He’s Just Not That Into You and many others.

Busy’s father Joseph is very close with a famed daughter. He has been married to his one and only wife Barbara for over five decades already.

The mother’s name is Barbara and she is dealing with real estate business. It would be interesting to know that relationship between mom and daughter were not always that good. However, when Busy became a mother herself she understood Barbara and now they are best friends.

The actress has an older sister Leigh and she is the only sibling to the film performer. She resides in Arizona together with a husband and two kids.

The two love birds met in 2006 and within a year of dating, tied the knot officially. In 2016 the actress asked for a divorce, as she felt some disconnection with a spouse as well as problems with parenting.
