Alt Title: "Michael Wilson Brings Freedom to the Rubicon"

Made in the spirit of the "Metal Wolf Chaos XD" Music Video released by Devolver Digital, I brought Metal Wolf into Armored Core VI!

While "Armored Core" has been around from the start, FromSoft had released other mecha games besides their titular series. One such game is the 2004, Japanese exclusive "Metal Wolf Chaos" which got ported over to Steam in 2019 as "Metal Wolf Chaos XD." Admittedly the port has a bit of jank to it considering this was originally an arcade-style game from 2004, however once you get past it, Metal Wolf Chaos is its own charming little entry into FromSoft's wild catalog of insane games. Additionally, the game received about as much love from the developers as Armored Core did, getting a rather good OST and tracks from FreQuency themselves. If that isn't reason enough to bring Metal Wolf into Armored Core VI, I don't know what is!

Because I aimed for part and aesthetic accuracy, the build ended up being Overburdened. However, this wasn't really a large issue on the account that your speed doesn't entirely drop and only your landing is truly affected by the status. The Hard Landing can easily be mitigated by a small, upward boost when you're closer to the ground to maintain a Soft Landing. Requires more Energy finessing but overall a rather fun, an interesting way to play the game! I did, however, swap out to lighter weapons for the final boss to maintain sanity as I personally had some trouble with them during my first NG++ play-through but it was still a great time nonetheless!
