Verona vs Trentino | FINAL Highlights | Coppa Italia SuperLega 2026. What a historic night at the Unipol Arena. Rana Verona delivered a flawless performance to defeat Itas Trentino 3–0 in the Coppa Italia SuperLega 2026 Final and lift the trophy for the first time in club history. In front of a packed arena and an electric atmosphere, Verona played one of the most complete matches of their season and left no room for a Trentino comeback.
The final ended in straight sets, with Verona winning 25–21, 25–22, and 25–20. From the opening rallies, Verona controlled the rhythm of the match with aggressive serving, solid blocking, and fast, well-organized offense. Trentino tried to respond with experience and resilience, but Verona consistently won the crucial points in every set.
The first set saw Verona build an early lead and maintain pressure with effective side-out play. Trentino struggled to slow down Verona’s attack, and the set closed at 25–21. The second set was more balanced, featuring long rallies and momentum shifts, but Verona stayed calm in the decisive moments and closed it 25–22. In the third set, Verona fully imposed their game, extending their lead and sealing the match 25–20 to complete a dominant 3–0 sweep.
Noumory Keita led Verona’s scoring with 15 points, including several powerful serves that shifted momentum at key moments. Darlan Souza added 12 points with excellent attacking efficiency, while captain Rok Možič contributed 9 points and scored the final point that secured the title. Setter Micah Christenson delivered a masterclass in distribution and tempo control and was deservedly named MVP of the final.
For Trentino, Théo Faure was the top scorer with 13 points, and Jordi Ramon added 10 points, but their efforts were not enough to break Verona’s defensive organization and consistency. Trentino, who had reached the final after a dramatic five-set semifinal win over Piacenza, were unable to replicate that intensity against a Verona side in top form.
This final marked a milestone in Verona’s history, as the club won its first-ever Coppa Italia trophy. After eliminating Sir Susa Vim Perugia in the semifinals and then dominating the final, Verona sent a clear message to the entire SuperLega. The victory confirmed their rise among Italy’s elite and made this Coppa Italia Final one of the most memorable moments of the 2025–26 season.
