Come learn from the CEO & Founder of Kenya's largest tree-planting organization!
When it comes to climate change, doom and gloom stories are everywhere. But there are other stories about climate change that you don't hear as often—those of dedicated change makers, game-changing technologies, and smart policies that are already reshaping the future for the better!
This October, we’re bringing you one of those hopeful stories from an innovative community mobilizer whose efforts led to the planting of 42 million trees! You’ll learn directly from Victor Mwanga, Founder & CEO of EarthLungs Reforestation Foundation, as he is interviewed by Sam Matey, Editor-in-Chief at Climate Action Now and author of Your Dose of Climate Hope. Together, we’ll explore the role of reforestation in climate action, the power of community-led approaches to produce both environmental and economic benefits, and how EarthLungs monitors and verifies tree health to ensure long-term impact.
Victor's trailblazing work has restored degraded lands in Kenya and Tanzania, employed residents in local communities, and led to global climate action partnerships!
Come learn, be inspired, and bring your own questions to the table— because there is climate hope, and it’s here, now!
