This fusion devotional song is special because it is inspired from the one sloka found within Sri Ramcharitmanas in Sundar Kand by Tulsidas. We wanted to emphasis on one sloka which is extremely devotional and powerful when chanted each day. In-fact you can imagine the power of this sloka which is chanted every day by monks at Sri Ramakrishna mutt and was dear to Sree Ramakrishna himself.

नान्या स्पृहा रघुपते हृदयेऽस्मदीये, सत्यं वदामि च भवानखिलान्तरात्मा l
भक्तिं प्रयच्छ रघुपुंगव निर्भरां मे, कामादिदोषरहितं कुरु मानसं च ll

"O Lord of the Raghu clan, there is no other desire in my heart except you. Grant me unwavering devotion and free my mind from useless desires and faults".

It is believed lord Hanuman blesses the person who chants this sloka with pure heart. When we hear and recite these slokas on Rama Ekadashi we are blessed with prosperity and peace. And since Diwali - Deepavali is in few days, it is ideal time to listen and chant this sloka.
