Vladimir Putin mocked by Boris Johnson and G7 leaders at summit in Germany

The G7 leaders mocked Vladimir Putin over his infamous bare-chested horse riding photo as they met up for a summit in Germany.

As leaders greeted each other, Mr Johnson asked if he should keep his jacket on, and then said: "Shall we take our clothes off?"

Boris Johnson joined US President Joe Biden and world leaders from Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the European Union as they look to galvanise the West's response to Russia's war on Ukraine.

Johnson jested that 'We have to show that we're tougher than Putin,' as he joined the meeting, to which Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded with, 'We're going to get the bare chested horseback riding display.'
