Comfort 25 Chick Brooder
This Chick brooder is the ideal substitute for Mother Hen, it provides a very natural solution to keep your chicks nice and warm. The Chick brooder is easy to clean is made mostly of strong ABS plastic.

A heating plate uses less energy than a heating lamp, due to the low wattage required and a chick brooder of this type represents very good value.

The height of the legs can easily be adjusted by pushing the yellow quick release clips on the underside of the brooder and an LED light indicator shows when the brooder is heating up

This chick brooder has the added benefit of Enhanced Insulation (PU) and Double security thanks to a temperature fuse and a resistance fuse.

Important information with regard to height settings. The heat source radiated from a chick brooder of this type is completely different to the heat provided from a lamp and bulb. When setting the height of the brooder best practice is to allow the chicks to be able to touch the underside of the brooder, as they would do so in their natural enviroment under mother hen. As the chicks grow then the the height of the chick brooder can be adjusted to suit the chicks exact requirements.

The Brooder also only uses 13 Watts making it very cheap to use.
