Ephemeral masquerades

When it is understood that the ruin is absolute
when faith is not a consolation
when it is impossible to have hope
everything is different
in the frontiers of life
we can feel how it escapes us
as a revelation
that cannot last longer than a whisper

Submerged in our own laziness
longing to understand it all at the last moment
of our existence

But the end will not reveal us much
we´ll leave this world
as hollow as we have lived.

Embedded in the greatest illusion that exist
we forget that life is captive by death.
we cling to ephemeral masquerades
shaping the foundations of a hoax
that throughout our existence we try to tear down
we cling to ephemeral masquerades
