In this video, we continue our exploration of Native American sites of the Chicagoland region, with this chapter focused on the Thatcher Woods Serpent Mound in River Forest, Cook County, Illinois.

This is the story of the discovery of this feature in the 1930s, by Theron and Isabel Wasson, and its subsequent exploration and interpretation.
