Slaying Grotesque Guardians OSRS 2024

Hello everyone! In this video, I'm going to show you how I slay the Grotesque Guardians.

In order to access and fight the Grotesque Guardians, you must be assigned gargoyles as a slayer task or be assigned a Grotesque Guardian boss task. Prior to this, you must also obtain a brittle key to unlock the gate leading to the boss. This key can only be dropped on task and has a drop rate of 1/150 from normal and marble gargoyles.

Some recommended stats:
75 slayer (to be assigned gargoyles and to kill the boss on task
70+ attack, strength, and defense
75 range to use the toxic blowpipe
44 prayer to pray eagle (74+ prayer allows to pray rigour and piety

The Grotesque Guardians are located at the slayer tower. Here are the following ways to get there:
Slayer ring (teleports you to the main entrance of the slayer tower)
Fairy ring code C K S lands you west of Canifis (south of the tower)
The Salve Graveyard Teleport (requires Arceuus spellbook; take you to the graveyard just south of the tower)
The Kharyrll teleport (requires completion of Desert Treasure I; will take you to Canifis)
Fenkenstrain's Castle Teleport or tablet and head west after casting
Ectophial to teleport to Port Phasmatys and walk from there
Walk from Varrock or Digsite through Paterdomus (longer route)

Once you reach the rooftop of the Slayer Tower, you can go set you quick prayers to protect from melee and piety. Drop an item from your inventory to equip your range gear and pray protect from missiles and eagle eye (rigour if you have imbued heart).

Once you ring the bell, a quick scene will pop up and this should disappear after your 5th kill. Both Dusk and Dawn will appear and you will begin your fight by attacking Dawn. Make sure to take a sip of your range pot. You can move to marked tile #1 and once Dusk reaches you, move to marked tile #2 so he can get stuck. If he gets unstuck, move accordingly to tiles 1, 2 or 3 to get him stuck again.

When Dawn reaches 55% health, she will fly away and you will equip your melee gear. Hit Dusk 2 or 3 times and make sure to walk away when he turns orange so he doesn't throw you and you take up to 25 damage. Make sure to be 2 tiles spaces away from the flying rocks that fall. Once Dusk reaches 55% health, Dawn will appear. Lighting will strike, so you must move as it will strike where you are standing, Make sure to be 2 tiles spaces away. Make sure that you switch back to your range gear and pray protect against missiles & eagle eye (or rigour).

Once Dawn looks at you, you can attack her. She will drop three purple orbs. If you have max gear and can kill Dawn before she absorbs the orbs, go ahead and do so and skip this step. If you do not have max gear, pick up the orbs. If you do not pick the orbs up, she will absorb them and each orb she absorbs she will gain 90+ health. Once she reaches 10hp or less, click on your rock hammer/granite hammer/rock thrownhammer to deal the final blow. Switch to your melee gear.

Dusk will throw you into a purple box of fire. Make sure to find a tile with no flame to exit. If you are thrown against the wall, find the tile with no purple flame and stand there until the flames disappear. If you are unable to exit the purple box of fire on time, you will get burned by the flames and can deal 50+ damage (you can die). Once the flames disappear, attack Dusk. Make sure to use your spec weapon to damage him as much as possible. And you're done!

This boss doesn't have the best drops so I understand if you get assigned gargoyles and want to skip the task or not fight the boss. However, a pet drop does sound nice :).
