Make from scratch! The texture of the Checkered Plate in Photoshop CC 2015

This tutorial will make a texture from scratch in Photoshop. The "Checker plate" is a steel plate with a non-slip protrusion. The worn-out texture is expressed by scraping the protruding part from the rust. Let's expand from seamless patterns to any document size.
