Tune in: Tama LGM137 SLP G-Maple 13x7 Snare at different Tunings

Описание к видео Tune in: Tama LGM137 SLP G-Maple 13x7 Snare at different Tunings

Basically, the small Tama LGM137 Maple Snare is the only non-metal snare I play and I really love that thing. It has a a lot of crack & punch, paired with a very pleasant sustain and works in a wide tuning range from medium-low to very high. The snare comes stock with a die cast hoop, which focuses and shortens the sustain and activates the thick maple wood shell really well. To top it all off, its very very easy to tune and holds tuning really well! Oh by the way: this is a VERY loud snare!!

I tried 5 different tunings, basically just going up in around 1/8th turns. Start of the video, I just hit off-center, center, center with rim for comparison.
The batter head Im using is an Evans Power Center Reverse Dot, which seems to work really well on all my snares. It takes away some crispness and adds some midrange. Somehow everything sounds better with that head!

Hope you like it,
// Simon :)
