Big wave surfer and Mavericks pioneer, Jeff Clark, started surfing the monster break as a teenager and has watched it transform into a worldwide phenomenon. He is this week's legendary guest on Off the Lip Radio Show, featuring legendary surfers and skateboarders in their Santa Cruz, California studio.

Special guest Richard Schmidt decided to share his passion for surfing and started teaching in his hometown of Santa Cruz, California. He started lifeguarding that year as well and worked the next 15 summers on the beach in addition to his teaching surfing. In the late 80's the surf media crowned him as California's top big wave rider.

With a huge North Pacific swell rolling through this week for a possible call to run the Body Glove Mavericks Invitational presented by GoPro, event director Jeff Clark will be answering your questions on air. You can listen in on 1080AM radio in the Bay Area every Tuesday evening starting from 7PM PST.
