Back in the spotlight and back on the small screen is Jenelle Evans.
On Thursday night, the controversial reality actress, who was sacked by MTV years earlier, made a comeback to the Teen Mom franchise. She landed in Florida for an episode of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter in order to spend time with her friend Briana DeJesus.
At one point, Jenelle mentioned her recent breakup with David Eason and said, "I definitely have to get a fresh start and get out of North Carolina, so that's why I'm here."
Evans' decision to (FINALLY!) leave Eason after her oldest son, Jace, ran away from hope last fall was made clear during her meeting with DeJesus.
and then declared that Eason had choked him.
Only because it allowed her to obtain a no-contact order between Eason and Jace, which she believes would keep the youngster safe, did Jenelle refer to this episode as a "blessing in disguise."
Naturally, this supposed altercation wasn't the first time that Eason was cited for violent behavior.
He acknowledged killing the family pet dog in 2019... Elizabeth Evans disclosed to a 911 operator that her spouse had fractured her collarbone the year before.
In response to the dog killing, Jenelle said to E! News last week, "We separated for a little bit and I moved to Tennessee."
"After that, I moved back since I understood that simply leaving your home during a marriage is considered abandoning your home. Thus, even though I didn't want to, I had to return.
But why did she stay here for such a long time?
Evans claimed that Eason has been "mentally abusive" for a long time, but he really didn't have an answer for this recent Teen Mom episode.
