Colin: Hey, everyone. Colin here at etrailer, and today we have a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica, and on the factory roof rack we went ahead and threw up here the Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box, just to test fit it, see how it looks on a Chrysler, and just to show you how it's going to interact with your vehicle. Now, this cargo box is going to be a great accessory to be able to get some of that extra cargo, whether it's beach gear, camping accessories, stuff like that, maybe just even luggage that you can't fit in the van to get it up and stored in your box. That is going to make more space inside for your passengers, more elbow and leg room. And most importantly, you don't have to sacrifice leaving some of your cargo behind because you can't fit it in here. This box is going to have a durable ABS plastic construction. It's really rigid. It's going to help protect your cargo from any impacts that you might experience while on the road, such as maybe road debris or rocks flying up and hitting your box.

It may scuff up the box, but it's not going to damage it and it's definitely going to protect your cargo on the inside. On top of that, you see it's got this nice glossy black finish and a nice aerodynamic shapes, and not only is it going to help you get a lot of your extra cargo loaded, but it's going to look good on top of your Chrysler and it's also going to cut down on wind noise and drag with that sleek aerodynamic shape. Now, a really cool feature about this box is that we have a dual-sided opening lid, meaning we can access our box from either side of the minivan. In cases where maybe you're parked against a wall in your garage or something like that, to where you can't access it from the passenger side, you can come over to the driver side. It's going to be the same operating system to open it up. You see we get full access from the driver side just in case we need to load or unload something and we cannot do it from the passenger side. I do want to point out, though, more times than not, you're going to run into more situations of where accessing it from the passenger side is not only easier but it's safer as well.

That example I can give is if you're on the road, and you have to stop on the highway or just in the middle of nowhere, instead of being on the same side as oncoming traffic, you can get to the outside to access it from the passenger side. What we're going to do is insert our key into the lock, which is also a great feature that we can lock up our box in case we have to run inside to the store or something, our cargo is going to be safe. Once we turn it to the unlocked position, just push in that button and the box opens right up so we have full access. On the inside, we've got about 13 cubic feet of storage space, which if that doesn't really give any good idea of what you can put in here, I've tossed some stuff in here before, and it's good for a family of about three to four people trying to get all that extra cargo loaded. Or if you just want to do, like I said, beach equipment or just camping gear, there should be plenty of space to get some tents or some chairs and stuff loaded up in here so you don't have to put them inside your vehicle. We have four different places where our Quick Mount clamps are installed onto our factory crossbars. One thing I do want to point out is that with factory roof rack on our Pacifica, is that this is the widest crossbar spread that this box will fit, so we haven't pushed all the way to the outside. We have the knobs tightened down.

You see this box is very solid on our roof and it's not going anywhere. Now, I've brought one of the clamps out to show you guys how it works. Once you drop through the channel inside the box, you would just bring that bar underneath of the crossbar. It goes up through this hole right here and we can just hold it right there. We have a knob which we'll start to thread on, nice and simple to get that installed. There's no type of nylon lock nut where you have to really put some forearm strength into it to get it tightened down.

But as I tighten, it's going to pull up on that clamp, and then we have it in the other side right here, so that it has a really good hold on our roof rack crossbar. You see, it works well for our factory crossbar, but if you have another vehicle where you might have Aero Bars or maybe even ellipti
