A state-of-the-art facility that will boost Uganda’s technological and skill base is nearing completion in Kiruhura district.
The National Science, Technology, Engineering and Innovation Centre, NSTEIC will offer training and research opportunities in various technology areas, such as construction, automotive, agriculture, and electronics.
The project, which was launched by President Yoweri Museveni last year in Kiruhura district, is now 97 percent complete, and is expected to be handed over to government by June this year.
