Tom King has one of the best comics on the market today. The Human Target is a smart, engaging mystery story. Too bad Tom King can't get out of his own way. He can't help himself. He has to humiliate or destroy a character. This week J'onn J'onzz aka Martian Manhunter gets the Tom King treatment. learning about his kinks and bedroom inadequacies just distracts from an enthralling comic book. If Tom King can stop being so....Tom King he can rehabilitate his image among comic fans. He needs to stop destroying characters. Martian Manhunter doesn't deserve this. The Human Target deserves more spotlight as a great comic book. Too bad Tom King can't get out of his own way.
