বাস্তব সংখ্যা ( Real Number )

স্বাভাবিক সংখ্যা ( Natural Number ) : যে সমস্ত সংখ্যা দিয়ে কোনো বস্তু গণনা করা হয় , সেগুলি হল স্বাভাবিক সংখ্যা। স্বাভাবিক সংখ্যা গুলিকে ধনাত্মক পূর্ণ সংখ্যা বলে। যেমন 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ,...............ইত্যাদি। স্বাভাবিক সংখ্যার মধ্যে সবচেয়ে ছোট হল 1. স্বাভাবিক সংখ্যার সেটকে সাধারণ ভাবে N চিহ্ন দিয়ে প্রকাশ করা হয়। সুতরাং

N = { 1 , 2 , 3 , ..............65 , ..........135 , ...............} . এই সংখ্যার সেট থেকে দেখা যাচ্ছে স্বাভাবিক সংখ্যার মধ্যে সবচেয়ে বড়ো সংখ্যাটি কল্পনা করা যায় না।



ধনাত্মক সংখ্যা, ঋণাত্মক সংখ্যা এবং শূন্য - সব‌ই বাস্তব সংখ্যা (ইংরেজি Real number) । অর্থাৎ যে সকল সংখ্যাকে সংখ্যারেখা-র মাধ্যমে প্রকাশ করা যায় তাদেরকে বাস্তব সংখ্যা বলে। এর বিপরীতে আর এক ধরনের সংখ্যা আছে যাদের বলা হয় অবাস্তব সংখ্যা (Imaginary number)। বাস্তব এবং অবাস্তব অংশযুক্ত সংখ্যাকে বলে জটিল সংখ্যা (complex number) যা "জটিল সংখ্যাতলের" (complex number plane) উপর যেকোন বিন্দু। এই তলে "বাস্তব সংখ্যা রেখা"-র (Real axis) সঙ্গে অবাস্তব সংখ্যা রেখা (Imaginary axis) লম্বভাবে অবস্থিত। ধনাত্মক সংখ্যা হলো ০ থেকে বড় সকল সংখ্যা। এটি ভগ্নাংশ ও হতে পারে।ঋণাত্মক সংখ্যা =০ থেকে ছোটো সকল সংখ্যা। ০ সহ সকল ধনাত্মক সংখ্যা হল অঋণাত্মক সংখ্যা।

শ্রেণীবিভাগ
বাস্তব সংখ্যাকে দুই শ্রেণীতে ভাগ করা যায়:

১. মূলদ সংখ্যা এবং
২. অমূলদ সংখ্যা

বাস্তব সংখ্যার স্বীকার্যসমূহ
যে সকল স্বীকার্যসমূহের উপরে বাস্তব সংখ্যা ধারণাটি প্রতিষ্ঠিত সেগুলি হচ্ছেঃ

১. আবদ্ধতা (Closure)
২. অনন্যতা (Uniqueness)
৩. বিনিময়যোগ্যতা (Commutativity)
৪. সংযোজনযোগ্যতা (Associativity)
৫. বণ্টনযোগ্যতা (Distributivity)
৬. অভেদকের অস্তিত্ব (Existence of identity)
৭. বিপরীতকের অস্তিত্ব (Existence of inverse)

Real Number

Natural Number: The number with which an object is counted is a natural number. Normal numbers are called positive integers. Such as 1, 2, 3, 4, ............... etc. The smallest of the natural numbers is 1. The set of natural numbers is usually denoted by the N sign. So

N = {1, 2, 3, .............. 65, .......... 135, ............. ... This set of numbers shows that the largest of the normal numbers cannot be imagined.

Positive numbers, negative numbers and zeros - all real numbers. That is, all the numbers that can be expressed by number lines are called real numbers. In contrast, there is another type of number called Imaginary number. Real and unreal partial numbers are called complex numbers which are any points on the "complex number plane". This is where the "real number axis" and the "imaginary axis" are perpendicular to it. Positive numbers are all numbers greater than 0. It can also be a fraction. Negative number = all numbers less than 0. All positive numbers including 0 are negative numbers.

Classification
Real numbers can be divided into two categories:

1. Rational numbers and
2. Irrational numbers

The acknowledgments on which the concept of real numbers is based are:

1. Closure
2. Uniqueness
3. Commutativity
4. Associativity
5. Distributivity
6. Existence of identity
7. Existence of inverse
