Most transplant medications are vital because they prevent rejection while others help to keep the recipient's body healthy and in balance. Like all medications, however, they can have side effects. While many of these side effects are mild, some can be more serious. It's important to be aware of these potential side effects so that you can report them to your child's doctor if they occur. You'll also learn about the future of transplant medications thanks to new technologies and advancements in medical care.
