And our next major boss I beat on my first try and solo at that with a slow as hell great sword... amazing what you can do when you lock in.
Anyways Lyle is definitely a tougher boss fight than Josee mechanically but Josee is spookier because its so early in the game.

I have no idea if you can parry this boss. I'm going to assume not but who the heck knows. But I can say this is my favorite boss fight so far, the epic music, the cool moveset, this isn't optimal gameplay by any means but I'd never fought this boss before so I'll take it as a win. Now despite the appearance resembling simon manus from lies of P this boss is actually pretty fun and phase 1 is something sort similar to Godfrey Phase 1 in elden ring but way bigger... which makes it easier to dodge his attacks.

Phase 2 is where things get a lot tougher but oddly his damage is actually pretty mild making this fight balance out surprisingly well and while it does feel like madness there is a clear method to his attacks and opportunities to score in multiple hits. I think playing elden ring made me better at not panicking when I see these sorts of things. After Consort Radahn I've learned to play chicken. I wanna try and use the giant buzzsaw on a major boss fight at some point because it's hilarious but it takes entirely too long to charge up so just use the axe or bow like a normal person. Still a great boss fight

As for the extra bosses where you travel back I'm currently planning to save them for after I get the games first ending because I've learned you can get all 3 in a single playthrough and they aren't missable.
