The software is free and runs online so you can use it on your phone or tablet in your workshop to solve screw cutting / threading/feed rate problems. It can be found with Google since it has a rather unique name "RideTheGearTrain". This old tutorial had 3923 hits when the new one was released on 12 Nov 2021. The link is:

This free online software will be useful for all lathes without a lead-screw gearbox. It also includes the specifications for gearboxes on certain lathes including South Bend 9" clones including Boxford.
A set of interchangeable gear wheels for the gear train used for cutting threads can result in over a million possible combinations. The software goes through all the combinations looking for sets that will provide the thread pitch or threads per inch that you need for your screw-cutting.
