Bad news, I'm afraid

Please read this entire description:

I signaled in my Weekly News that I'd be making an announcement before the end of the month and this is it.

Unfortunately, due to the effects that MFNZ's ongoing attempts to stop me from flying at the Tokoroa Airfield, and subsequent attempts to stop me even developing my SAA system have had on my ability to earn a living, I am having to take a break from creating RC-related videos.

As the figures clearly show, the effects of MFNZ's dishonesty and ongoing campaign have crippled the earnings from my XJet channel which was almost wholly reliant on flying videos for its content.

The inability to fly in any practical or affordable way has also now badly impacted my ability to continue creating videos for RCModelReviews. If I claim to be reviewing products for RC flying models and I can't actually fly - that would make me a fraud and, as the Walkera 250 review proved, the costs now associated with any flying video far exceed any revenues that might be generated.

So next month (September) I will work tirelessly to complete the reviews of products which have been sent to me in the expectation that they would be reviewed and I will also complete as many of those "part 2" videos as I can -- albeit the cost of flying anything is now prohibitively high.

MFNZ claim to be promoting and "protecting" the hobby -- which simply shows once again their level of dishonesty, especially in light of the way they threw 2/3 of this country's RC fliers under a bus with respect to the new CAA regulations.

I heard recently that they are still telling their members and anyone who contacts them that the only problem is that I refuse to rejoin. Here's another reminder of their dishonesty in this regard:

What they say and what they do are two entirely different things.

Please remain subscribed to this channel even after the end of September (which will see many videos posted) and don't forget to keep an eye on the XJet channel. There won't be any RC flying posted (aside from the MFNZ members crashing here at the airfield) but there will hopefully be some interesting stuff worth watching there as, out of necessity, I shift my focus -- at least for a while.

I've disabled comments on this video because not to do so would simply invite the trolls and MFNZ fanbois to gloat.
