Robbie McIntosh great solos to Dire Staits Calling Elvis John Illsley - Pearlvibe dedication

I´m invited to have John Illsley autograph two Pearlvibe Guitars - dedicated to his music. The "Walk of Life" Tele and the "Sultans of Pearl" strat. John is an artist and a painter and my unique form of artwork intigues him.
After the soundcheck he told me to check out guitarist Robbie McIntosh - one of the finest guitarists he knows.
I was blown away by not only Robbies playing but also his great tone, drive, ideas and style.
Playing Straits you automatically are compared with Mark Knopfler.
Listening to Robbie his drive envelopes you into forgetting everyone else and being drawn into only his groove.
By the way, John Illsley was amazed by the two Pearlvibes.
